LPG Onshore Storage Facilities
ZOUEC manages the business of LPG storage, transportation and wholesales and owns a refrigerated LPG terminal with the area of 160,000 square meters, where there are one specialized LPG pier & jetty with a berthing capacity of 54,000 tons, two 31,000 m3, refrigerated LPG atmospherical storage tanks, one for propane with storage temperature of -42℃,the other for butane with storage temperature of -4.6℃,twp 1.000 m3 pressurized LPG spherical tanks and one eight-base truck loading station and other auxiliary public facilities of fire-fighting and water-electricity. For the time being, the terminal is designed for an annual LPG throughput of 500,000 tons, and there is developing area of 75 mu for the second project.
LPG onshore Terminal Dock
ZOUEC LPG terminal is located at Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Provice on the Southern bank of Yangtze River, about 134KM upstream of the non-sitting and non-freezing Yangtze golden waterway. VLGC can navigate to ZOUEC LPG terminal throughout the year , The water depth of the berthing place of ZOUEC L pier and jetty is 15 meters , However, ZOUEC pier & jetty can berth VLGC at or above 35,000 DWT.
ZOUEC pier & jetty with a butterfly-shaped dolphin has a total length of 291.5 which consists of 80-meter-long berthing platform erected with 4 imported 8″hydraulic offloading arms whose connection flanges are in compliance with ANSI B16.5 150LB, 2 , whose total capacity of discharge per hour is 1000 m3 for propane and 1000 m3 for butane.
